April - The month I was born, to be more exact April 11 1973 at 16:46 That make me 29 years old in 2002. Help, I'm getting old.

Boden - Is the town where I live. It is in northern Sweden. Lat 65,50° N Long 21,42° E. I have lived here since October 2000.

Cat - I have one cat Busan (not in the picturem it shows her Mother Black Franchezca, Zigne Bottilia and Bartholomea-Ezmeralda).

Design - User Computer Interaction and designing of interfaces is something I really like. And in the future I would like to be a researcher in the subject at the university or working with UI design for a company. I also design bead jewellry.

Earl Gray - My favorite tea blend. If I can I buy the Fortnum & Mason Earl Gray special with a hint of Lapsang Souchong, it is delicious. I'm a huge fan of tea and hate coffee.

Formula Dé - One of the funniest board games I have tried. I love playing board games and I and Henrik are collecting games. See our collection.

Graphics - I'm a PSP-addict and really need to get my dose of PSP every day. I do graphics for my own needs as well as graphics to others, eg. banners, stationaries, background sets etc. Please visit Designs by Béatrice.

Henrik - My lovely boyfriend since August 1998 and Herman my second son born December 22 2002.

Internet - I need a daily dose of surfing, I frequently visit föräldraNätet, Aftonbladet, NSD, Norrbottens Kuriren, Absolut Green and a lot of PSP tutorial sites.If you want more of my favourite links go to my link page.

Java - A programming language I like. I also do a lot of ECMA (Javascript) programming mostly just for fun. At Designs by Béatrice you will find some of them.

Karjalainen - Is my last name. It is Finnish and means from Karelia. My father is from Finland so that is why I have that name. It is a very common name in Finland. My first name is Helena and it means Torch, my second name Béatrice, the one that I'm called by, means Blessed.

Lake - I live by a lake called Svartbyträsket. It has been "sick" for many years but now it is on it's way to get better and you can take a bath in it.

Mail - I love to receive mail and I'm participating in a lot of graphics mailing lists. If you want to se some of the results from exercises in those lists visit Designs by Béatrice.

Nitzer Ebb - My favorite music group. I also listen to Depeche Mode, The Cure, Peter LeMarc, Deep Forest and a lot of classical music.

Outlook Express - Is the mail program I use. I also like to to OE stationaries You will find them at Designs by Béatrice.

Photo - I love to take photos and manipulating photos in PSP. When I travel I always come home with a lot of photos and now I have scanned them and have them on the web, curious, then take a look in my gallery. My son also has gallery with a lot of pictures.

Quilt - I love those cute graphics quilts that people has on their web pages. And I love to make squares for them to others, so if you have a quilt and want a square for it, take one of mine or send me an e-mail and I'll gladly make one for you. Visit my quilt as well.

Residence - I live in a house near a lake, see some pictures. I like to be in the garden but I don't know so much about gardening yet. We also has a lot of things to fix on the house so we can keep our self busy if we want to.

Sports - I'm not a sports fan except for basket ball and Plannja Basket. I try to visit every home game.

Trollhättan - Is the town where I was born. I moved to Luleå, to study, when I was 20 and have stayed here in northern Sweden since then.

University - I have a bachelor in system analysis from Luleå university of technology and have studied 35 weeks of psychology.

Vincent - Is my lovely son. He was born May 8, 2001. And that was the coolest experience in my whole life. I have my birth report here (in Swedish). Vincent has a home page of his own.

Work - Currently I'm working as pre-sales engineer at Operax.

X - Is a small button in top of the windows. I should press it more often and then turn off the computer and do something else.

Yoga - Is something I would like to try, maybe I'll when I finally turn off the computer :-)

Zzzzzz - Sleeping is another thing I enjoy. After having children you can't sleep as much as before and sometimes I miss it. But when Vincent puts his small arms around me and says mamma (mum in Swedish) I forget everything about being tired the same when Herman gives me one of his smiles or starts to jiggle.
