With no new material from 242, this remix album was released in 1995 to keep the fans interested. Or was it really for the fans of 242? Maybe it was aimed at the techno kids, judging by the way it sounds. There is very little 242 over these tracks, with the exception of their own remixes. It's mostly in the techno territory, ranging from ambient to trance and rave. Some of these remixes are quite old, some are new and fresh. I suspect all of the Orb remixes to be from when the tracks were originally released (which is quite evident in some cases). The Prodigy mixes are also a few years of age and very Prodigy sounding, but not bad at all. Both the Underworld mixes seem new, and they're quite good. The second one has some excellent distorted synths that are so good it's almost a shame they didn't use them for one of their own tracks (or maybe it's just me who's so fascinated by dist synths). The old 242 mixes are mostly from the remix albums Mixed By Fear and Angels vs Animals.
